Tehran Monoxide", a cultural and socially engaged art project, which has been going on since 2011, in the form of independent projects, in collaboration with artists and citizens from Tehran in public spaces. 

This project’s goal is to raise awareness of and offer practical solutions to the problem of air pollution in Tehran. It reflects the viewpoints of people from all walks of life, from children to adults in terms of the issue of air pollution, what they cannot see but do breathe.

Subject: since 2011, Tehran Monoxide has run six projects in public spaces, focusing on two aspects. First, children and adolescents in Tehran, who contribute the least to the city’s air pollution and are harmed the most by it. The second aspect is t highlighting the importance of plants and green spaces as the lungs of the city that we are witness the loss of trees, green space and Persian in our everyday life.
